By joining a WWF start group, you support WWF Finland's work to protect the Saimaa ringed seal. For each registration, 20 euros will be donated to WWF Finland's work to protect the Saimaa ringed seal.

If you have already registered for the Saimaa Cycle Tour and would like to join the WWF charity group, please contact Saimaa Cycle Tour customer service at support@saimaacycletour.com. We will make the group change free of charge and send you a payment link to pay the difference.

Lappeenranta Tour 2025

The Saimaa Cycle Tour's Lappeenranta Tour is approximately 100 kilometres long. The Lappeenranta Tour will start on Saturday 12 July 2025 at 10 am. The route starts and finishes in Imatra and runs through the Saimaa Canal to the port and sand castle of Lappeenranta. The route will be run entirely on asphalt roads. There are two services stops and bike service points along the route and food will be served at the finish.

This 100 km route can also be participated with electric bikes.


Two-step registration process for the Saimaa Cycle Tour:

1. Create a user account (If you already have a user account, log in and go to step two)
  • Create an user account to register for the Saimaa Cycle Tour event

2. Pay your registration

The registration fee includes:

  • 20 euros to WWF Finland's work to protect the Saimaa ringed seal 
  • WWF cycling shirt (to be picked up at SCT Expo upon registration)
  • Beverages and snacks at all service points
  • Food at the finish
  • Participation bib
  • Timing chip and timing service
  • Medal for those who finish the route
  • Printable diploma delivered to your email
  • First-aid services
  • Bike service (spare parts to be paid separately)
  • Transportation to the finish line for those who DNF (did not finish)
