The 300 km Saimaa Cycle Tour 'Sleep Over in Mikkeli' route is cycled in two stages of approximately 150 km each, entirely on asphalt roads.
On Friday, July 10, at 16:00, the cyclists will depart from the Imatrankoski bridge and follow the Saimaa Cycle Tour's 300 km route to Mikkeli, where they will spend the night in a hotel. On Saturday, 11 July, participants will continue their journey from Mikkeli no later than 8:00, cycling back to Imatra via Puumala and Ruokolahti. How do I get my overnight luggage to the hotel?
Each participant can deliver a bag for overnight storage to the Saimaa Cycle Tour event area before the departure. When bringing your luggage, please inform the staff that you are participating in the 150+150 km route and staying overnight in Mikkeli. Your luggage will be transferred to your hotel in Mikkeli while you cycle to Mikkeli.
How is bicycle storage arranged in Mikkeli?
In Mikkeli, the 150+150 km route signs will guide you to the hotel parking garage, where your bicycles will be stored overnight. The hotel parking garage is located at the end of the hotel's covered parking lot.
Are meals provided for participants at the hotel?
Food will be delivered to the hotel from the Mikkeli service point, and participants can enjoy their meals in the hotel dining facilities. Participants can also dine at local restaurants at their own expense during opening hours.

You can leave your luggage at the hotel reception, from where it will be transported to Imatra. You can collect your luggage from the bike parking / storage point which is located at Saimaa Cycle Tour event area when you arrive at the finish line.
