Participation transfer with Transfer Protection

Transfer Protection allows you to transfer your participation from the 2027 Saimaa Cycle Tour and/or Saimaa Gravel Tour to the following year (2028) or to another person without providing a specific reason.

Transfer Protection must be purchased at the time of the original registration. If you register for both the Saimaa Cycle Tour and Saimaa Gravel Tour at the same time, one Transfer Protection covers both events.

Please note: Transfer Protection is a personal add-on service for the original buyer and is single-use. Transfer Protection itself cannot be sold or transferred to another participant.

By purchasing Transfer Protection, you can make one of the following changes before the event:

• Transfer your participation to the following year's (2028) event without a reason or medical certificate.

• Transfer your participation to another person free of charge. (Note: In this case, the Transfer Protection is considered used and will not carry over with the new participant's registration right).

The use of Transfer Protection must be notified to the Saimaa Cycle Tour customer service before the end of the event's advance registration, no later than Sunday, July 4, 2027, at 23:59 Finnish time (EEST).

Transferring Registration without Transfer Protection

• Illness: In case of illness, participation can be transferred to the following year's event free of charge upon presentation of a medical certificate. The medical certificate and notification of the transfer must be submitted to Saimaa Cycle Tour customer service no later than Wednesday, July 7, 2027, at 23:59 Finnish time (EEST).

• Transfer to another person: A €20 processing fee is charged for transferring participation to another person. The processing fee can be paid by either the original or the new participant. This transfer must also be completed no later than Wednesday, July 7, 2027, at 23:59 Finnish time (EEST).

Cancellation of Registration

Registration cannot be cancelled, and Saimaa Cycle Tour will not refund the participation fee to the participant under any circumstances.
